The South Crofty tin project comprises two adjacent historic tin mining operations.

The South Crofty mine, an amalgamation of twelve contiguous mines, was closed in 1998 due to low tin prices; substantial documentation on remaining resources exists.

The Dolcoath mine was closed in 1922 after mining the widest, highest grade orebody in the district for both tin and copper. Parallel structures are known to exist and wide zones of disseminated mineralization are being intersected by current drilling in the footwall of the main lode.

Drilling of 23,000 meters (28,000m to date) has resulted in a 43-101 compliant inferred resource in the upper levels of Dolcoath of 2.5 million tonnes at 0.46% Sn, 0.54% Cu and 0.23% Zn (0.68% tin equivalent).

In addition, exploration targets in South Crofty have been identified of 6.7 to 13.5 million tonnes at 1.4 to 1.8% tin and 1.25 to 2.5 million tonnes at 1.25 to 1.6% tin.

Drilling is carried out underground from a shallow decline. Future planning calls for the dewatering of Dolcoath and South Crofty and continued exploration by underground exposure and sampling of numerous known lodes and to access exploration targets, which are quantified by analysis of historic sample data and production records over many years of prior operation.
